Axonopus eminens is a species of herb in the family Poaceae. They are native to Maranhao, Amazônia, Afrotropics, Caatinga, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, and Sergipe.
