Axonopus furcatus (Big Carpet Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They are native to Distrito Federal, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Caatinga, Afrotropics, Bahia, Espirito Santo, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, The Contiguous United States, and Paraná.
