Misumena vatia (Crab Spider) is a species of spiders in the family crab spiders. They are native to The Nearctic and the Palearctic. They visit flowers of coneflower, roundtooth snakelily, common milkweed, and Poker plant. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 8 mm. They have parental care (female provides care).
