Hymenaea courbaril (Stinkingtoe) is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Pará, Mato Grosso, Amapá, RondôNia, AmazôNia, Caatinga, Roraima, ParaíBa, Distrito Federal, Pantanal, GoiáS, Maranhao, Tocantins, Acre (Brazil), Bahia, Pernambuco, Ceará, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Alagoas, SãO Paulo, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Norte, Piauí, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Sergipe, and Minas Gerais. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 34 m.
