Takifugu poecilonotus (Finepatterned Puffer) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family puffers. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 20 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on anal and dorsal fin swimming to move around.
