Description: Characterized by pinkish body color; six copper-brown stripes; midlateral stripe extending onto tail as dark brown streak; lower head and side of belly with row of pearly spots; greatest depth of body 2.3-2.6 in SL (Ref. 90102).

Mouthbrooders (Ref. 240). Distinct pairing during courtship and spawning (Ref. 205).

Forms aggregations. Found in coastal reefs, sometimes in silty areas, in 15-35 m (Ref 90102).

通常以下雜魚處理，用作魚飼料，有時會曬成小魚乾自家食用，並無任何經濟價值。
