Ceanothus americanus (New Jersey Tea) is a species of shrub in the family Rhamnaceae. They are native to United States, North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and The Americas. They have blue flowers and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Grapeleaf Skeletonizer, Delta Flower Scarab, Helophilus latifrons, and Yellow-spotted Webworm Moth. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
