Hibiscus laevis (Halberdleaf Rosemallow) is a species of perennial herb in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Ptilothrix bombiformis, Amorpha Borer, Augochloropsis metallica, and Lasioglossum imitatum. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
