Syritta pipiens is a species of flies in the family flower flies. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They visit flowers of Clustered Mountain-Mint, yarrow, milfoil, Sorrels, and Chaparral Broom. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 8 mm.
