Liparis montagui és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels lipàrids.[5]

- Fa 12 cm de llargària màxima.[6][7]
Reproducció
Fa la posta a l'hivern.[6][8]
Alimentació
Menja principalment crustacis (com ara, amfípodes, gambes i crancs petits).[6]
Hàbitat
És un peix marí, no migratori, demersal i de clima temperat (77°N48°N, 25°W -45°E) que viu entre 0-30 m de fondària.[6][9]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a l'Atlàntic nord-oriental: el mar del Nord, al voltant de les illes Britàniques, el mar de Noruega, el sud-oest del mar de Barentz i el sud d'Islàndia.[6][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
