카라칸투스속(Caracanthus)은 페르칸목 양볼락과에 속하는 조기어류 속의 하나이다.[1] 쏨뱅이목에 속하는 카라칸투스과(Caracanthidae)로 분류하기도 한다. 열대 인도-태평양 산호초 속에서 서식한다.
